Gallstones

The stone collected in gall bladder is simply said to be gall stone. Liver produces bile to digest protein, carbohydrate and fats. The bile produced in the liver is collected in gall bladder. Bile contains water, bile salt, cholesterol, bilirubin, calcium, compounds and other products of liver When bile gets fatty, then calcium as well as bile salt, minerals, etc. Get amalgamated and hence, from a stone. It is also called chemical stone because cholesterol and bilirubin are it is component due to the embargo in the mouth and pipe section of gall bladder caused by the disposition of stone, small intestine doesn’t receive bile and hence, the digestion of fats and other nutritive stuffs is not possible. Beside this, it is very painful and inconvenient. So, should be throw-out by surgeries. The circulation of blood is also affected if small intestine doesn’t receive bile. And the blood becomes yellowish due to the increment of bilirubin in blood. The long disposition of stone in gall bladder may leads to the cancer. Stone of gall bladder can be treated by ultrasonography. 
Predisposing factors:
  •        Due to frequent accumulation of food containing calcium and fats.
  •        Due to inadequate drinking of water.
  •      Restriction in passing out of bile.
  •        Infection in gall bladder.
  •      Irregular consumption of food.
Signs and symptoms:
  •        Abdominal pain in upper side of stomach.
  •        Proper digestion of food doesn’t take place if a person has eaten fatty     foods. 
  •       Jaundice may appear due to the obstruction in pipe of gall bladder.
  •       Sometimes fever may occur.
  •       Vomiting and nausea sweetness.
  •       If gall bladder gets infected, pus is collected in it. In this condition         pain becomes extreme with high fever.
  •        In case of cancer of gall bladder, one can experience swelled ball           like  structure.
Prevention and control:
  •             Intake of fatty foods and cholesterol should not be done.
  •            Adequate exercise should be done to get rid of fat.
  •            Food containing high amount of calcium shouldn’t be accumulated.
  •            Drinking a lot of water.
  •            Diagnosis and treatment of stone should be done in earlier stage.
  •            Patient should take rest.
  •           Providing health education, etc.
