Syphilis
is a sexually transmitted disease. It is also venereal disease or contagious
diseases. This disease affects organ & tissues of human body& skin,
mucous, nervous tissue etc. The urethral discharge come out from urinary
bladder vaginal discharge & blood are the source of transmission of the
disease. This disease affect at any age of people but generally seen at
sexually active groups [15-49].
If
pregnant mother suffer from this diseases then the child may suffer from this
diseases. Child born from suffer mother from this disease then chance of
deformity seen in child. Prostitution business engaged people generally suffer
from this disease. To cure this disease VDRL [Venereal disease Research Laboratory]
test should be used.
Causative
Agent:-
Treponema
palladium is causative agent of syphilis.
Incubation

from incubated of 1 week to 10 week.
Mode of
Transmission:-

contacts - sexual transmission, by kissing, by breast feeding.

contacts - Infected Clothes, blades, utensils.

Accidental
Transmission - Health professional at blood transfusion Center.

Trans
placental Transmission - mother to her baby placental.

Transmission Affected blood transfusion.
Sign
symptoms:-
This disease symptoms divided 3 stage are given below.
1. Primary
stage – In this stage small organ swells. It also called primary chancre. This chancre
seen at genital region. This stage in from 15 – days – 30 days.
2. Secondary
stage – In this stage general fever, headache seen on patient. Beside it small patches
on skin, perineum swell out, & small patches seen on mucus membrane &
enlargement of lymph gland generalized
lymphadenopathy.
3. Tertiary
stage – After some years if not treated it show this signs & symptoms.

damage – Loss of mental power.

damage – Heart Failure.

teeth.
